Fake Omaha is a fictitious metropolitan area.
But that is where the fiction ends. Within Fake Omaha's borders, we are sketching out a vivid, realistic community complexion. Imaginary geography aside, Fake Omaha contains a range of people and places equivalent to what's found in real life. Fake Omaha has also faced the same failures and fortunes which have shaped actual cities.
This project presents a chance to deal with real challenges – the ones left in the aftermath of changing economic, social and spatial landscapes. The story is completely plausible. The setting of fiction serves only to quiet the distractions and discouragements which often stall progress in real life.
